As a financial advisor and small business owner, Eric’s mission is to assist individuals, families, and other business owners in defining and achieving their financial goals. His goal is to become a lifelong resource to his clients and community, and he is dedicated to assisting ambitious people to achieve success by offering a holistic financial planning experience, with advice that puts client interests first, is tailored to their needs and goals, and is monitored with care.
Drawing on experience as an advisor and a manager at other organizations, Eric created Bergenn Financial Group, LLC as an independent financial planning and advisory business, with no ties to any single investment or insurance company. Bergenn Financial Group was founded on certain core values: empathy, compassion, integrity, authenticity, value, and trust.
Eric studied Economics and Philosophy at Central Connecticut State University. He has been a financial advisor since 2013. Eric serves on the Board of Directors for the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce and takes pride in being active in the community.
Eric lives in West Hartford with his wife, Lauren, and their three children: Shaye, Jack, and Miles. Lauren is a Registered Nurse in the CT Children’s Medical Center NICU. The Bergenn family is often out enjoying live music, going for walks & hikes, visiting the parks, shops, and restaurants in West Hartford center, or exploring New England.
